The goddess Ennodia (or Enodia = the one in the streets) is a distinctly Thessalian deity who has been equated with both Artemis and Hekate. She was the protectress of roads and entrances, both of cities and houses; in some of her aspects she protected children, while in others she was worshipped in graveyards; her primary center of worship was at Pherai.
