EPEIROS. Ambrakia. Circa 404-360 BC. Stater (Silver, 21.90 mm, 8.40 g, 12 h). A Pegasos flying right with straight wings. Rev. AMΠPAKIOTAN Head of Athena to left, wearing Corinthian helmet; behind, tripod. Calciati 65 (same dies, but legend mistakenly recorded with Ω rather than O). Ravel, "Colts of Ambracia", 100 (A46/P68). Well-centered and with a reverse of fine style. Obverse lightly struck from worn dies and with some marks, otherwise, good very fine.
