Republic silver "SANPEX" Commemorative Bar 1949 UNC, cf. KM-X Type III. 91mm. 89.60gm. Issued by the Santos Philatelic Society. Stamped "Nº 249", "1949" and a few other stamps. What sets this lot apart from the bars found in the market is the original COA of issue, with matching numbers representing the penultimate bar out of the 250 stamped. Printed on old parchment, resembling and most likely inspired by the old "Guias" from the 18th-century Sabara gold bars.
