Kushan Empire, Vasishka AV Dinar. Main mint in Gandhara, circa AD 247-267. Vasishka standing to left, nimbate, crowned and diademed, sacrificing over altar and holding filleted staff; filleted trident to left; Brahmi 'nya' to right of altar, Brahmi 'tha' between legs, Brahmi 'vi' to right / Ardoxsho enthroned facing, holding diadem and with ribbons in right hand, and cradling cornucopiae with left; tamgha to upper left, Brahmi letter beneath throne to left. MK 552 = Donum Burns 613; ANS Kushan -; Roma e40, 298; Roma e41, 415-6; Roma e42, 284. 7.86g, 20mm, 12h.

Good Very Fine; slight rev. die shift. Very Rare; only one example cited by Göbl and seemingly only four examples on CoinArchives - the Heidelberger (73, 82) and Heritage (3064, 30214) specimens both being inaccurately attributed to this MK reference number.
