Watch List notes:

GREECE: 40 para (1885) biglietti of the English Factory of Perama at Lesvos island. Biglietti were issued mostly in Greek territories of the Ottoman Empire after the financial collapse, caused by the Russian-turkish war and apparently followed the first paper grossi of Banque Imperial Ottoman 1876-77. Inside holder by PMG "About Uncirculated 50 / Minor Stains". (Pick unlisted) & (Stratoudakis / Pitidis 279c). Ex Tzamalis collection.
