ARAB-SASANIAN: Khusro lillah type with Pahlavi APD, ca. 650s, AR drachm (3.78g), ST (Istakhr), YE26, A-M6, special type, with Arabic lillah & Pahlavi APD in the second quadrant of the obverse margin, perhaps intended to convince both Muslims and Non-Muslims that the coins met the required standards of weight & fineness, VF-EF, RRR. This type proves that "lillah" is indeed the Arabic word and not the first two letters of Pahlavi APD.
