AQ QOYUNLU: Anonymous, AR tanka (4.11g), Tonokabun, ND, A-2564.5, countermarked tonokabun mehr on type A-2523.1 of the Aq Qoyunlu ruler Ya'qub (mint obliterated by the countermark), EF on EF host, RRR. Very rare mint in Gilan Province, known mainly from Safavid silver coins, and this countermark may be from the beginning of Safavid rule.
