The mint called al-Mu'izziya was the city of Taormina on the east coast of Sicily, conquered in AH351 (962 AD) and renamed "al-Mu'izziya" after the current Imam al-Mu'izz. The mint operated AH353-364, closed by the death of al-Mu'izz in AH365.
