NORTHERN SONG: LOT of 4 bronze chess pieces, between 28 and 24mm wide, including two pawns (zú), one elephant (xiàng, similar to bishop), and one advisor (shì, from the same origin as queen), each with a Chinese character on one side and a depiction on the other, F-VF. A complete set of 32 pieces sold for RMB 109,250 ($17,212) in China Guardian's Fall 2016 sale (Lot 5303).
