TENASSERIM-PEGU: Anonymous, 17th-19th century, cast large tin coin (49.98g), Robinson-, Phayre-Plate III.3 (obverse only), 68.6mm; mythical hintha bird facing right, with long tail rising above, many extra feathers along its back, and holding a 9-leaf branch in its beak // Burmese ta-weh (for the city of Dawei in Tenasserim Province); a superb example! choice EF-AU.
