TENASSERIM-PEGU: Anonymous, 17th-18th century, cast large tin coin (27.69g), Robinson-21 (Plate 9.2) (known only as a drawing from Phayre Plate III, no. 5), 62.1mm, carefully engraved dragon-on-sea upon a pedestal, with clear head left and ornate tail, fancy floral pattern above the dragon // 3-line Burmese legend, with the central character resembling the usual central square on Chinese cash coins; shallow strike, but little evidence of wear, VF-EF, RRR. This is the first example of this type to be recorded on CoinArchives.
