IONIA, Magnesia ad Maeandrum. Circa 225-200 BC. AR Tetradrachm (22mm, 16.88 g, 12h). In the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; two monograms in left field, maeander pattern in exergue. Vădan Group 2, dies unlisted (but obv. probably by same hand as O23); Price 2043 var. (second monogram is below throne). Good VF. Very rare variety.
