EASTERN EUROPE, Imitations of Alexander III of Macedon. 1st century BC. AR Drachm (18mm, 2.83 g, 1h). Mint in the lower Danube region. Stylized head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Stylized Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; monogram in left field. OTA 591/3; KMW 1486; Lanz –. Lightly toned, minor porosity. Good VF. Probably imitating Kolophon mint.
