SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos III 'the Great', 222-187 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 29 mm, 17.13 g, 12 h), Antiochia on the Orontes, circa 223-211/0. Diademed head of Antiochos III to right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - ANTIOXOY Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his left on grounded bow; to outer left, monogram of ΞY. SC 1042.1. Boldly struck in high relief. A few light marks, otherwise, good very fine.
