ЄΠI ΦIPMO/Y - ΛANΨAKH/N/Ω (sic!) Cult statue of ithyphallic Priapos standing front, head to left, holding kantharos in his right hand and thyrsos in his left; to left, lighted altar. ANS 1944.100.43036 = Kraft pl. 50, 23 (same reverse die). BMC -. SNG Leypold -. SNG Paris -. SNG von Aulock -. Winterthur -. Extremely rare. Beautifully struck and with an impressive ithyphallic rendering of Priapos. Somewhat smoothed, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
