THRACO-MACEDONIAN TRIBES, Mygdones or Krestones (?). Circa 480-470 BC. Diobol (Silver, 11 mm, 0.95 g). He-goat kneeling to right, head turned back to left; above and to right, pellet. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Lorber, Goats, Issue 15. HGC 3, 368 ('Aigai'). SNG ANS 60 ('Aegae'). Beautifully toned and with a fine pedigree. Minor flan cracks, otherwise, very fine.
