MACEDON. Neapolis. Circa 500-480 BC. Drachm (Silver, 17 mm, 4.00 g). Facing gorgoneion with protruding tongue. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. AMNG III, 2, 7. HGC 3, 584. SNG ANS 420-422. Beautifully toned, perfectly centered and of wonderful late Archaic style. Good very fine.
