Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.33 g, 6 h), Rome, late 121-123. IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG Laureate head of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. P M TR P COS III / PRO - AVG Providentia standing front, head to left and resting her left elbow on column, holding wand over globe in her outstretched right hand and long scepter in her left. BMC 307. Cohen 1199. RIC 558. A very attractive piece, well struck and beautifully toned. Extremely fine.
