Trajan Decius, 249-251. Antoninianus (Silver, 21 mm, 4.38 g, 6 h), Rome, 250-251. IMP C M Q TRAIANVS DECIVS AVG Radiate and cuirassed bust of Trajan Decius to right, seen from behind. Rev. PANNONIAE The two Pannoniae standing front, looking left and right, respectively, and raising their right hands in salute, the one on the right holding signum in her left hand; between the two personifications, the upper part of a second signum appearing in the back. Cohen -. Eauze -. Gemini XI (2014), 489 (same reverse die). RIC 24. Of the highest rarity and great interest. Slightly rough and with a minor die break on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.

This type, with the two Pannoniae, Upper and Lower, standing next to each other, raising their right hands and with a signum in the back, is one of the great rarities in Decius' silver series.
