Maximianus, first reign, 286-305. Follis (Bronze, 30 mm, 10.19 g, 7 h), Londinium, circa 303-305. IMP MAXIMIANVS P F AVG Laureate and cuirassed bust of Maximianus to right. Rev. GENIO POPV-LI ROMANI The Genius of the Roman people standing front, head to left, holding patera in his right hand and cornucopiae in his left. RIC 23b. A sharply struck and very attractive example with a superb portrait. Very light deposits on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
