The highest denomination for the 1918 series. This Finnish note comes with a brown underprint printed on original manila paper. The note has exceptionally wide margins, and incredible detail of the designs. The center portrait features two allegorical men holding a caduceus under a tree that fans out and ultimately covers the entire top half of the note. This high denomination note is sure to be a staple in any collection that prides itself on containing special notes from Finland. The borders on this note are ornate and frame the "1000" counters in the top corners. The reverse depicts a lake and fir trees in great detail.
