A gigantic type note, printed in various shades of green and brown for the Banque de la Guyane. The Bank of France could not meet all the currency requirements for their vast empire during the World War II years, and the E.A. Wright Bank note Company of Philadelphia helped fill the void. Issued examples of this highest denomination are very rare, but this Specimen will fill the gap quite nicely. Just a bit of handling is present on this completely original example.
