Included in this lot are P-39 100 Rupias in GU 66Q and P-40 500 Rupias in CAU 58. PMG comments "Hole Cancelled" on both.

The 100 Rupees has the signature of António Pedroso Pimenta, which was found on 47,000 notes out of 194,000 printed for the denomination.

The 500 Rupees has the signature of Francisco Vieira Machado, which was found on 10,500 banknotes out of a total of 34,000 printed for the denomination.
