George II (1727-1760), Two-Guineas, 1738, first younger laureate head left, stop above head, rev. crowned garnished shield with rounded arches, eight strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 16.56g, 6h (Bull E/5; EGC 569; MCE 291; Spink 3667B), milling smoothed and traces of darkened solder at reverse 10 to 2 o'clock, the surfaces sweated, struck details a bolder fine.
