Lithuania Grand Cross of the Grand Order of Vytautas (1930). Order of Lithuania; established in 1930. The sign of Vytautas the Great Order consists of a golden white enameled cross; depicting a rider with a royal crown in a crowned red shield. On the other side of the order is the same shield with a stylized letter V. At the ends of the cross - dates 1430 and 1930; above the cross - a gold crown with a crystal. The chain is made of gold chains, decorated with a motif of a double cross and a stylized letter V; and its two ends are connected by a central shield-shaped chain; which contains images of the seal of Vytautas the Great: symbols of Smolensk; Vilnius; Trakai and Volyn. The Order Medal is awarded to persons for merits to the State of Lithuania. The obverse of the medal - the sign of the order; the reverse - the royal crown, the legend VYTAUTAS DIDYSIS; date 1430–1930. Silver. Gold. Enamel. Weight approx: 45.72 g. Diameter: 64x47 mm
