KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great'. 336-323 BC. AR Tetradrachm (30mm, 17.10 g, 1h). Uncertain mint. Posthumous issue, struck 3rd century BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; traces of an uncertain control mark in left field, monogram below throne. Unpublished. Minor double strike, some die wear. EF. Extremely rare.
