KINGS of MACEDON. temp. Philip III – Antigonos I Monophthalmos. Circa 323-310 BC. Æ Unit (19.5mm, 5.64 g, 3h). Uncertain mint in Western Asia Minor. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Bow-in-bowcase and club, lower tie of bowcase in the form of an A; torch below; c/m: head of lion right within incuse circle. Price 2800 var. (no A, but present in illustration). Dark green patina. Good VF.

Price's description of 2800 is valid for some of the coins he lists in the BM, but on others, such as example f, which he illustrates, the lower tie on the bowcase has the form of the letter A.
