MYSIA, Kyzikos. Circa 450-330 BC. EL Myshemiheket – Twenty-fourth Stater (8mm, 1.30 g). Boy seated facing, head right, legs splayed to left, holding in his right hand a tunny fish by the tail / Quadripartite incuse square. Cf. Von Fritze I 169 (unlisted denomination); cf. Boston MFA 1511 = Warren 1508 (stater); cf. SNG BN 316 (stater); Hurter & Liewald II –. Light brush marks. Good VF. Extremely rare as a myshemihekte, only one in CoinArchives (Nomos Obolos 6, lot 474).
