LANCASTER. Henry VI. First reign, 1422-1461. AR Groat (25mm, 3.70 g, 7h). Annulet/Rosette-Mascle mule. Calais mint; im: cross 2 (pierced cross). Struck circa 1427. Crowned facing bust within tressure of arches with lis at cusps; annulets flanking neck / Long cross pattée; triple pellets in quarters; rosettes in legend. Whitton, Heavy p. 240, 13c; North 1427/1446; SCBC 1836/1859. Toned. Good VF.
