King on horseback, foreshortened horse; pellet after ET, no pellets at i.m. / Oval garnished shield; i.m. right of center, center line of shield to upper side of S; groups of four pellets left and right of i.m. S. 2761. N. 2198. FRC XXIV/XXXVIII. Fine; evenly worn; horseman evident in outline and with some old tooling around the legs of the horse; full round flan, legends and initial marks clear, reverse shield clear; evenly struck, some metal stress marks. Probably a pocket piece at one time.
