William and Mary (1688-1694), Silver Halfcrown, 1689, first conjoined busts right, rev second type crowned square-topped shield, caul only frosted with pearls, date above, edge inscribed in raised letters and dated, PRIMO (ESC 510; S 3435). Attractive old cabinet tone, tiny mark to right hand portrait and flan flaw by reverse crown, otherwise good very fine.
