William III, Silver Halfcrown, 1697N, Norwich mint, first laureate and draped bust right, N below truncation, rev crowned cruciform large shields, lion of Nassau at centre, edge inscribed in raised letters and dated, NONO (ESC 550; S 3491). Attractively toned, a few tiny raised die flaws and one or two light obverse marks, reverse adjustment marks at 6 o'clock, otherwise bold very fine.
