BRITISH COINS. Anne, Silver Halfcrown, 1708, draped bust left, rev Post-Union crowned cruciform shields, plumes in angles, garter star at centre, edge inscribed in raised letters and dated SEPTIMO (ESC 578, note 1; S 3606). Attractive old tone, light haymarking both sides, two tiny digs in obverse right-hand field and one or two tiny rim nicks, otherwise good very fine, the reverse a touch better, with some underlying brilliance.
