George I, Silver Crown, 1716, laureate and draped bust right, rev crowned cruciform emblematic shields, now incorporating the Arms of Hanover, roses and plumes in angles, garter star at centre, edge inscribed in raised letters and dated, SECVNDO (ESC 110; S 3639). Lightly toned, a little haymarking in places and wear to high points, about very fine.
