Greek Military Administration of the Dodecanese, 31 March 1947, Bronze Medal, legend relating to Vice Admiral Pericles Ioannides, rev map of the islands and their names, 55.5mm; Macedon, Bronze Medal, c.1950s, signed WK, naked horseman, turtle below, MACEDONIA, rev garlanded columns, 46.5mm. Second very fine, the first with dull surface and scratched on obverse but a scarce cartographic medal. (2)
The British commander of the Allied Forces occupying the Dodecanese, Brigadier AS Parker, delivered the Administration to Admiral Ioannides on the 31 March 1947.
