Aethelred II, Silver Penny, last small cross type (c.1009-1017), Lincoln mint, moneyer Wulfric, diademed and draped bust left within linear circle of Lincoln-York style, +ÆÐELRED REX ANG, rev cross pattée, linear circle surrounding, +PVLFRIC MO LINCO, 1.42g (BMC type I; N 777; S 1154). Two small flan cracks into legend, some peck marks each side, cleaned with a slightly undulating flan, about very fine.
