Dublin, Stoneybatter, Nich [sic] Delamain, crescent (W.306), fine, struck on an irregular flan, extremely rare
From the collection of Dr Thomas S. Agnew (1911-1977), which was auctioned at Sotheby's on 1 October 1987. His envelopes and surviving tickets are offered with the tokens.

The Dublin district is spelt STONIBETER (cf. Williamson), unlike the two specimens listed by Macalister (205a, b) which caused the reading STONIBATAR to be adopted as the only correct one in Dickinson.
