A pleasing and popular high denomination note, now over a century in age. Japanese style serial numbers. Issued a few years after Korea became part of the Empire of Japan, the note has clear Japanese elements (such as a vignette of Daikoku, the God of Luck), but it is clearly different from contemporary Japanese banknotes.
