French States - Lorraine - Nicolas François (1633-1635), Teston 1635 (Florence mint) (Silver, 8.73 gr, 29 mm) KM 55. Extremely Fine, Planchet flaw.
Nicolas Francois ascended to the title Duke of Lorraine when his older brother, Charles IV was pressured to abdicate in 1633. They were both forced into exile when France invaded Lorraine the same year, which is why this coin was issued in Florence.
