Pr-1768. Struck in the name of Alexander III (the Great). Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and scepter; kithara in left field. Despite some time spent in circulation, the present example provides enough details to remain a charming representative of an extremely popular type.
