Pr-3692. Struck in the name of Alexander III (the Great). Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and scepter; "M" in left field; below throne, ΛY below strut. This boldly detailed issue from Babylon provides some attractive areas of surface brightness that act as contrast on the deeply colored surfaces. A solid example of an Alexander type.

Estimate: $200 - $400
