Obverse: Laureate head right; Reverse: Crown presented by Agilulfus, King of the Lombards, to the Church of St. John at Monza. Edge: Plain. Charming brown surfaces, with great brilliance and excellent detail to the crown. Interestingly, most references cite this crown as the Iron Crown of Lombardy, but that crown is clearly different, with this depiction pertaining to that which Agilulfus presented at Monza in the late 6th century/early 7th century.
