GREAT BRITAIN. Victories Over Louis XIV of France White Metal Medal, 1706. PCGS MS-62.
Eimer-422. Obverse: Anne, deified as Minerva, subduing Louis XIV, represented by a Roman solider; Reverse: Woman in besieged tower casts stones at enemies who shoot arrows upwards. An interesting medal that presents a phenomenal design motif and very little evidence of handling. Some uneven color, common on white metal pieces.
Estimate: $60 - $100
