Obverse: Spes seated right, head turned slightly left, resting elbow upon garnished shield and extending hand over miter set upon altar to right; Reverse: Circular legend around nine-line legend. Vibrant red-brown surfaces, with some alluring brilliance sprinkled throughout. For completeness, a light "m" appears to be evident above Spes's outstretched arm.

This interesting German medal has a strong British connection in that it celebrates the election of the then 6-month old Prince Frederick as the Prince-Elector of Osnabrueck.
