Gr-F58; Me-296; He-16. Obverse: Laureate armored bust right, legend around; Reverse: Arms of Guatemala City flanked by denomination, legend around. This moderately worn example boasts even wear with plenty of remaining details complemented by rich old cabinet patina. As indicated on the holder, this piece has been pierced at 12 o'clock for suspension long ago. Despite its shortcomings this charming little medal is sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
Estimate: $75 - $150
