Dirks-770. By J. P. M. Menger. Diameter: 50mm; Weight: 66.37 gms. Obverse: Bare head right; Reverse: Legend in three lines within wreath. Edge: Uncertain hallmark [caduceus?]; otherwise plain. Quite attractively toned and with some underlying brilliance, this impressive specimen radiates with appeal. A few scattered light deposits around the devices are noted merely for completeness. Includes part of a box, though uncertain if original.
