PB Seal of John, notarios (11th century AD).
Obv: Bust of Saint Auxentios of Bithynia, holding a book in his l. hand and offering a blessing with his r. Inscription on either side: ὁ ἅ(γιος) Αὐξ(έντιος) Βιθ(υνίας). Border of dots.
Rev: Inscription of five lines: Κ(ύρι)ε β(οήθει) τῷ σῷ δούλ(ῳ) Ἰω(άννῃ) νοταρίῳ. Border of dots.
Translation: Lord, help your servant John, notarios.
This is the only known specimen.
Condition: Very Fine.
