GOLD PENDANT (1750-1850 AD.)
Obv: On the right, Mary is standing to left; behind her, donkey and ox, referring to the manger where Jesus was born and his breathing to heat the manger. On the left, Joseph with a halo, standing to r.; between them, baby Jesus, the Holy Family trilogy. Behind Jesus, an angel, and above, "Manus Dei". The figure behind Joseph is probably one of the three shepherds or astrologers who set out on the birth of Jesus. Rev: On the left, John the Baptist is baptizing the half-naked Jesus Christ before him in the Jordan river. On the right, two angels are seen, one of whom is holding his clothes ready for Jesus to wear after baptism.
