CELTIC, Central Europe. Circa 2nd-1st century BC. (Silver, 117.00 g). A lot of Ninety-Nine (99) Celtic Quinarii and Obols from Central Europe, mostly "Büschelquinarii" issued by the Vindeliki and "Roseldorf II" Obols issued by the Boii, but also including two rare and pleasing "Roseldorf III - Stier" issues, three Obols type "Manching", as well as some other scarce issues. Mostly about very fine or better. Lot sold as is, no returns (99).
From the Trausnitz Collection, acquired as a group in 1994 in Germany.

This interesting group of Quinarii and Obols entered the Trausnitz collection almost thirty years ago as a group that probably reflects its composition at the time of discovery. We therefore decided to keep the coins together in one large lot.
