CELTIC, Lower Danube. Uncertain tribe. Circa 3rd Century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 12.51 g, 9 h), type 'mit Rad-Kontermarke', imitating Philip II of Macedon, struck in the Banat region. Π-III Celticized laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. Jockey on horseback to left, holding a palm; below, branch; countermark on horse's body: wheel of four spokes with incuse quarters.
